Overview
TMGM is an Australian-founded forex and CFD broker operating since 2013. Its strongest case is fairly specific: active forex traders who want MetaTrader, raw spread pricing, scalping, Expert Advisors, and access to high leverage where regulation permits it. Outside that core audience, the advantages become less obvious.
The broker's two main accounts are EDGE and CLASSIC. EDGE starts from 0.0 pips and charges $7 per standard forex lot round-turn. CLASSIC starts from 1.0 pips with no separate trading commission. Both have a $100 minimum deposit. A Cent account is also available in eligible regions from $15 through some local payment methods.
TMGM is not the cheapest broker in every category, nor does it have the widest platform or product range in the industry. Its appeal comes from putting competitive forex pricing, MT4 and MT5, copy trading, Acuity, Trading Central, and flexible trading conditions into one account structure.

How we test Brokers ?
Trust and Safety
TMGM's regulatory structure looks impressive because the group holds licenses in several jurisdictions. The important detail is that those licenses do not provide identical protection.
The ASIC license is the strongest part of this setup. Australian client money is kept in segregated accounts, and TMGM identifies National Australia Bank as one of the institutions used for client trust funds.
The regulatory trade-off appears when leverage enters the picture. TMGM advertises leverage up to 1:1000 under VFSC regulation. Australian retail forex clients, by comparison, are limited to 1:30.
Negative balance protection applies where the relevant regulatory framework requires it. The protection available to an Australian retail client should therefore not be assumed to apply in exactly the same way to every international account.
Another limitation is compensation protection. TMGM does not have one statutory investor compensation scheme covering every client worldwide. Trademax Global Limited is a member of The Financial Commission, which gives eligible clients an external dispute process and access to its compensation framework, but that should not be confused with a universal government-backed compensation scheme.
Fees and Commissions
Spreads
The EDGE account advertises spreads from 0.0 pips. CLASSIC starts from 1.0 pips. A 0.0 pip minimum is not an average spread and does not mean a trader will repeatedly enter EUR/USD at zero spread throughout the day.
These weighted average spreads give a more realistic frame than judging the broker only by its minimum spread. The actual trading cost still changes with market conditions and account type.
Commission
EDGE charges $7 per standard forex lot round-turn, equal to $3.50 per side. Precious metals carry a $5 round-turn commission per standard lot. CLASSIC charges no separate commission.
EDGE or CLASSIC: Which Is Better?
EDGE is the stronger account for active forex traders, scalpers, and automated systems. When trades are frequent, reducing the spread can matter enough to justify paying commission separately.
CLASSIC makes more sense for a trader who values simple pricing and trades less often. The absence of a commission looks attractive, but the wider spread means it is not automatically cheaper.
The wrong way to choose between them is to look only at "0.0 pips" versus "$0 commission." The better account depends on total cost over the trader's normal volume.
Overnight Swap Fees
Standard accounts are subject to overnight financing when positions remain open through rollover. This is one area where TMGM becomes less attractive for traders holding leveraged positions for long periods, because financing can eventually matter more than the opening spread.
Swap-Free Fees
Eligible EDGE and CLASSIC clients can request swap-free conditions. New swap-free accounts receive a five-day grace period before administration charges apply to eligible instruments.
This needs to be understood correctly. Swap-free does not mean every position can be held indefinitely at no cost. TMGM applies financing charges to selected instruments after the grace period.
Deposit and Withdrawal Fees
TMGM charges $0 internal fees on its main deposit methods and it does not normally charge its own withdrawal fee. Banks, correspondent banks, card companies, and payment processors can still deduct their own charges.
Currency Conversion Fee
A conversion cost can arise when a transaction or instrument uses a different currency from the trading account. TMGM supports major base currencies including AUD, USD, EUR, GBP, NZD, and CAD.
The broker does not present one simple universal conversion percentage across every current regional page, so traders who regularly fund or withdraw in another currency should check the applied rate before assuming the conversion is negligible.
Inactivity Fee
TMGM charges $10 per month after an account has remained inactive for more than 12 months under the published account conditions.
This is not a major cost for active clients, but there are brokers with no inactivity charge at all. Occasional traders therefore gain nothing from this fee.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Deposit Methods
TMGM gives clients a broad choice of deposit methods, including bank wire, Visa, Mastercard, Wise, Skrill, Neteller, Revolut, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Tether, Interac, China Union Pay, Southeast Asia Bank, and Payment Asia. The range is strong enough for most international traders, but not every method is available in every country. The exact options depend on the client's location and the TMGM entity holding the account, so the payment methods shown inside the client portal are the ones that matter in practice.
Withdrawal Methods
The same core set of methods is available for withdrawals. In practice, anti-money-laundering rules and the original funding method can affect where money can be returned.
That is normal for a regulated broker, but it means a trader should check withdrawal options before making a large deposit through a less familiar regional method.
Deposit Processing Time
TMGM processes most card and electronic deposits quickly, with many methods credited instantly or within a few minutes. Bank transfers are the main exception and usually take several business days. TMGM is competitive for electronic funding, but traders using bank wires should allow extra time.
Withdrawal Processing Time
TMGM generally processes withdrawal requests internally within one working day, but the final arrival time depends on the payment method. E-wallet withdrawals can arrive within about 24 hours, cards commonly take 1 to 3 business days, and international bank transfers can take around 3 to 5 business days. These times are reasonable for a CFD broker, although bank withdrawals are clearly the slowest option. The receiving bank or payment provider can also extend the final transfer time after TMGM has processed the request.

Tradable Instruments
Forex
Forex is where TMGM makes its best case. Major, minor, and exotic pairs are available, positions start from 0.01 lot, and EDGE combines raw spread pricing with MT4 and MT5.
Maximum leverage reaches 1:1000 under VFSC regulation. Australian retail clients face the much lower 1:30 limit.
Precious Metals
Gold and silver sit comfortably inside TMGM's forex-focused setup. EDGE charges $5 per standard lot round-turn on precious metals.
What TMGM does not deserve is extra credit simply for having gold and silver. These markets are standard at serious CFD brokers. The benefit is that an active FX trader can trade them using the same account structure and MetaTrader workflow.
Indices
TMGM covers the major global benchmarks that most retail index traders look for, including the S&P 500, NASDAQ, Dow Jones, FTSE, DAX, and Nikkei.
Coverage of the major indices is sufficient. The problem is differentiation. TMGM does not make as strong a case for index specialists as it does for forex traders.
Commodities and Energies
Brent and WTI oil are available alongside the broker's metals products. That covers the core energy contracts most retail CFD traders use.
The commodities range is better described as supporting coverage than a specialist offering. A trader opening TMGM mainly for forex will have enough additional markets to move into oil. A commodities specialist has less reason to start here.
Stocks
TMGM provides share CFDs on global companies, with leverage reaching up to 1:20 under applicable conditions.
The broker can handle occasional equity CFD trading without forcing an FX client to open another account. It does not stand out as an equity specialist, though. Traders whose main strategy depends on a very large share universe should compare the exact stock and exchange list first.
ETFs
TMGM provides ETF exposure through contracts for difference (CFDs) rather than direct ownership of the underlying funds. That distinction matters because traders are speculating on price movements using leveraged CFD products instead of buying and holding ETF units.
ETF CFDs sit within TMGM's broader multi-asset offering and can be traded through MetaTrader alongside shares, indices, forex, and other CFD markets. Margin and leverage rules apply, and those conditions can change depending on the instrument, market conditions, and the regulatory entity holding the account.
Availability is also jurisdiction dependent, so not every client will necessarily see the same ETF products or leverage limits.
Cryptocurrencies
TMGM covers major cryptocurrency CFDs and its current trading tools show a wider group of crypto symbols beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. Australian crypto conditions are more conservative, with leverage up to 1:2.
Trading Platforms and Tools
5/5
MetaTrader 4
MT4 remains relevant for traders who already depend on Expert Advisors, custom indicators, or strategies written for the older MetaTrader environment.
TMGM does the important part correctly: scalping, hedging, and automated trading are allowed. Existing MT4 traders therefore do not have to redesign a strategy just to fit broker restrictions.
For a new trader without legacy software, however, MT4 is difficult to recommend over MT5. Its main advantage is compatibility with existing tools, not superior technology.
MetaTrader 5
MT5 is the better default choice for most new TMGM clients. It has more analytical tools, more timeframes, stronger strategy testing, market depth, and broader multi-asset support than MT4.
The limitation is not MT5 itself. It is the absence of more platform alternatives around it. Pepperstone currently gives traders MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView, and its proprietary platform. FP Markets also provides cTrader and TradingView alongside MetaTrader.
TMGM therefore suits traders who already want MetaTrader. It is less attractive to traders who want to choose freely between several modern charting and execution ecosystems.
WebTrader
WebTrader gives browser access to the account without a desktop installation.
That is convenient, but it is standard functionality rather than a reason to pick TMGM. It should be treated as backup access, not a premium platform feature.
TMGM App
The TMGM App is more useful on the administrative side. Registration, eKYC, funding, account access, and trading can be handled from a mobile device.
The app makes account management easier, but it does not replace the need for a stronger platform choice if a trader wants TradingView or cTrader. It is best viewed as a companion to MetaTrader rather than a breakthrough proprietary terminal.
Copy Trading
TMGM Copy Trading lets Followers copy strategies from Providers through the Client Portal and mobile app.
The basic function is clear. The harder part to judge is provider quality. A serious copy trading service should make long-term returns, maximum drawdown, leverage, trading history, and risk easy to assess before capital is assigned.
TMGM's public marketing explains the copying process better than it explains how a follower should separate durable performance from a short lucky track record.
That makes the service worth investigating rather than automatically praising. Beginners in particular should not treat copying another account as a substitute for understanding risk.
HUBx
HUBx is built around managed accounts and portfolio administration. It matters to fund managers and professional client structures.
For an ordinary retail trader, it should barely influence the broker decision. Giving HUBx the same weight as spreads, regulation, or platform choice would exaggerate its importance.
VPS Hosting
TMGM's VPS offer is genuinely relevant to Expert Advisor users, but the qualification requirements need attention.
New clients can qualify for a Basic VPS with a $3,000 minimum deposit, while the High Frequency option requires $20,000. Existing clients are subject to trading activity requirements, including a 7-lot trading requirement for the monthly Basic VPS review.
Those thresholds weaken the offer for smaller algorithmic traders. Depositing several thousand dollars mainly to qualify for a VPS is difficult to justify when independent VPS services can be purchased separately.
Account Opening and Fees
EDGE Account
EDGE is the account that fits TMGM's strongest audience. Raw spread pricing, $7 round-turn forex commission, MetaTrader, scalping, hedging, and Expert Advisors form a coherent package for active trading.
The criticism is straightforward: EDGE is competitive, not uniquely cheap. Traders should compare the total spread plus commission against other raw accounts before assuming TMGM wins on price.
CLASSIC Account
CLASSIC removes the separate commission and starts from 1.0 pips. The pricing is easier to understand, which makes it a reasonable starting point for lower frequency clients.
It is not automatically a beginner's bargain. Paying the broker through a wider spread is still paying the broker. Traders who become more active can find EDGE more economical even though it has an explicit commission.
Cent Account
The Cent account lowers the initial funding requirement significantly. Local payment methods can start from $15, while the current account page lists $50 for crypto funding and $100 for credit card funding.
The product range is deliberately restricted. Major and minor forex pairs, gold, silver, oil, and BTC/USD are available, while exotic forex, indices, shares, and other cryptocurrencies are excluded.
There is also no Cent demo account. Anyone wanting to test the Cent setup must therefore move directly into a live account, even if the starting amount is small.
Swap-Free Account
Swap-free conditions are available on eligible account types. The first five calendar days receive a grace period before administration charges apply to selected positions.
For traders who require an Islamic account, that is a legitimate option. Anyone simply trying to avoid overnight trading costs should read the financing table first, because the account is not universally charge free.
How to Open a TMGM Account
Opening a TMGM account starts with a short online registration form, followed by identity and address verification. Traders then choose the account type and platform that fit their setup, fund the account using one of the available regional payment methods, and can begin trading once verification is complete.
TMGM promotes the initial application as a process that can be completed in under three minutes, but that should not be confused with full account approval. KYC checks and funding can take longer, especially if additional documents are required.
The main point to check before registering is which TMGM entity will hold the account. That choice affects leverage, regulatory protection, available products, and sometimes payment methods. Beginners should focus on the account conditions and regulator rather than simply selecting the option with the highest leverage.
Customer Support
TMGM provides 24/7 customer support through live chat, phone, and email, which is a practical advantage for forex traders operating outside normal business hours. The support team can be reached at +61 2 8036 8388 or [email protected], while live chat is available through the broker's website.
Multilingual assistance is another strength. TMGM supports clients in several languages, including English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Japanese, Filipino, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Arabic, and Russian.
Market Research
TMGM's research offering is one of the stronger parts of the broker. It combines Trading Central with Acuity tools such as AnalysisIQ and NewsIQ, giving traders access to technical signals, sentiment data, macroeconomic events, and filtered financial news in one place. The package is more useful than the basic calendar-and-news setup found at simpler MetaTrader brokers, although much of the strongest functionality comes from third-party providers rather than proprietary TMGM research.
Learn
TMGM's education section is useful for learning the basics, but it is not one of the broker's strongest advantages. TMGM Academy covers articles, courses, webinars, eBooks, platform guides, and common trading terms, which is enough to help beginners understand how the platforms and CFD trading work. The weakness is depth: the material is better suited to platform familiarization and basic concepts than to building a complete trading education. The 30-day demo period also feels restrictive for anyone who wants to practice systematically or test a strategy over a longer period. Overall, TMGM provides a solid starting point for beginners, but traders looking for advanced, structured education will need additional resources.
Bonuses and Promotions
Deposit Bonus
TMGM has run regional deposit credit campaigns offering roughly 50% to 100% bonuses, with some offers reaching $10,000 in trading credit.
A permanent worldwide 100% deposit bonus is not the main global promotion currently advertised. These campaigns are regional and temporary.
More importantly, deposit credit is not the same as withdrawable cash. It should never be included when deciding how much personal capital to risk.
No-Deposit Bonus
TMGM does not currently offer a standard global no-deposit cash bonus.
This is not a meaningful weakness. A no-deposit offer would not improve execution, regulation, or trading costs.
Welcome Bonus
There is no single permanent global welcome bonus that every new client receives. Current promotions focus more on cashback, referrals, rewards, and trading competitions.
That is preferable to pretending a region-specific campaign applies everywhere.
Refer a Friend
The current global promotion offers up to $25 for each successful referral. This is a small account perk rather than something that should influence a broker decision.
Affiliate Program
The partner program is more commercially significant than the retail referral scheme. It gives marketers and Introducing Brokers several payment structures.
For an ordinary trader, however, affiliate payouts have nothing to do with execution quality. They should not be used as evidence that TMGM is a better place to trade.
Loyalty Program
TMGM Rewards currently gives 10 points per lot on FX and gold and 1 point per lot on oil and other qualifying CFDs under the published rewards structure.
The program can return some value to existing active clients. It should not encourage additional volume merely to collect points, because the trading cost can easily exceed the value of a reward.
Final Verdict
TMGM is strongest for active forex and CFD traders who already prefer MT4 or MT5, especially those using scalping or Expert Advisors. The EDGE account combines raw spreads, a $7 round-turn forex commission, automated trading support, and VPS access. Research is another positive, with Acuity and Trading Central adding more depth than a basic MetaTrader setup. However, TMGM is not the cheapest raw spread broker, its platform choice is narrower than some rivals, and areas such as ETFs, crypto transparency, and long-term demo testing are less convincing.
Beginners should also be cautious with the 1:1000 leverage available under the VFSC entity, as higher leverage comes with a weaker regulatory framework than the ASIC-regulated Australian offering. Overall, TMGM is a solid forex-focused broker with competitive pricing, flexible trading conditions, and useful research tools, but it is not the best fit for traders who want the widest platform choice, deeper ETF coverage, or stronger protections combined with very high leverage.
FAQ
Is TMGM regulated?
Yes. TMGM operates through companies regulated by ASIC in Australia, the VFSC in Vanuatu, the FSA in Seychelles, and the FSC in Mauritius. The level of protection differs by entity, so the license attached to the individual trading account matters more than the total number of regulators.
Does TMGM offer an Islamic account?
Yes. Eligible clients can request swap-free conditions on supported accounts. However, selected instruments can still carry administration or financing charges after the applicable grace period.
Does TMGM offer copy trading?
Yes. TMGM provides Copy Trading through its Client Portal and mobile app. Traders can follow strategy Providers and copy their trades, but the service should be judged carefully because past performance and short-term returns do not guarantee future results.
Does TMGM offer a Cent account?
Yes. TMGM offers a Cent account in eligible regions, with deposits starting from $15 through selected local payment methods. The account has a more limited product range than EDGE and CLASSIC, so it is better suited to small live testing than full multi-asset trading.
